FAQ
What happens when the overlay has more pages than the base?
Overlay pages cycle: page 1 of B goes on the first stamped page, page 2 on the next, and when B runs out it starts again from its first page. A single-page overlay is stamped on every selected page, which is the usual letterhead or stamp case.
Does the overlay have to be the same page size?
No. The overlay is scaled to the percentage you choose and placed relative to the base page, so mixed page sizes work. An A4 overlay at full scale on a Letter base simply overflows the edges.
Is the text in the overlay still selectable?
Yes. The overlay is drawn as real vector content, not a screenshot, so its text stays selectable and searchable. Opacity only changes how it looks.
