Which metadata fields can I edit?
Title, author, subject, keywords, creator and producer. These are the standard document properties shown by PDF readers in the file info panel.
Does editing metadata change the page content?
No. Pages, text and images stay byte-for-byte identical. Only the document information dictionary is rewritten.
Can it remove all metadata at once?
Yes. Empty every field and apply, and the new copy shows these fields as empty values. Keep in mind some producers also write information outside these six fields.
