FAQ
Is the content outside the crop box deleted from the file?
No. Cropping sets the page crop box, which is what every PDF viewer shows and prints. The underlying objects technically remain in the file bytes. If you need the hidden content physically removed, use the redaction tool, which rebuilds pages as images.
Can each page get a different crop?
One crop box is applied to all selected pages in this tool. To crop pages individually, run it once per page with a custom page range. The box is applied proportionally, so pages with a different size crop by the same relative area.
What about rotated or mixed-size documents?
The crop you draw is what you saw in the preview. For documents where all pages share the same size and orientation the result matches exactly; pages that mix sizes or rotations are cropped proportionally, so double-check them in the output.
